Building a Newsletter Template Library in Figma
From March 2022 to December 2023, a newsletter template redesign project at The Washington Post transformed seven separate templates into one unified system. The project addressed design inconsistencies and rigid templates, implementing a modular system with improved accessibility and typography. The results showed increased engagement rates and better conversion, while giving editors more flexibility in content creation.
Guidance on Implementing User Education
I led the development of comprehensive user education guidelines at The Washington Post, focusing on creating clear, consistent, and effective ways to guide users through our digital products. My approach emphasizes contextual learning, where guidance appears at the moment it's most relevant to users.
